The Pamas, the rolling plains famous for the “gaucho”.   San Antonio de Areco, with it´s cobblestone streets and century-old buildings is is just a couple of hours from Buenos Aires and bang in the middle of “gaucho country”.   Many of Argentina´s rural estates offer days in the country where one can live-out their fantasy of becoming a coyboy for the day!
